Success Story – Jeferson Espiritu

Jeferson Espiritu is a graduate of Global Academy’s Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts.  His influence in starting his culinary journey was his family’s love for cooking.  His education and training in Global Academy served as his foundation for what he has become today.  Every activity and school competition taught him different cooking techniques and molded him to have good attitude and discipline in and out of the kitchen. After graduating, he was able to join one of the biggest International Cruise Liners, the Holland America Line.  He started with a low rank but after showing good work and attitude, was able to receive a promotion after a short period. His work in the cruise line gave him the opportunity to visit almost all the continents of the world.  He left the cruise line industry to start a family; a decision he would not regret for it paved the way for him to venture into business. His business, Jacob’s Peanut Praline Butter, keeps him busy as they are trying to introduce the first peanut praline butter in the Philippines and make them available in all leading supermarkets.  His advice to Global Academy Alumni: “study hard, even unnoticeable things that you will learn from Global Academy are essential.  Discipline yourself not only in cooking but in everything you do.  Love what you are doing and cook with love.”
