Success Story – Antonio Carmelo Tallon

Antonio Carmelo Tallon is a graduate of Global Academy’s Grand Diploma in Professional Culinary, Baking and Pastry Arts.  He simply took up culinary because of his love of eating and his great passion of cooking.  His education at Global Academy honed his skills as a cook and taught him the knowledge needed to express his culinary artistry.  Ton is now a line cook in the main kitchen of Ritz Carlton, a famous five-star five-diamond hotel, in Amelia Island Florida.  He is currently stationed in the sauté section of Café 4750.  His advice to students and alumni of Global Academy is “just trust yourself and have an open mind. Accept challenges, always be curious on things and never give up. Working in the kitchen is not easy. It takes your time, energy. There will be a lot of ups and downs, but if you really want this to be a career, then do everything you can to achieve your goals.”
