Korean Lettuce wrap (SAMGYEOPSAL )

Here’s another recipe that Chef Erika made when she did a demo last month for Inter-Ed! It was a hit with both teens and adults so try and make this at home!

SAMGYEOPSAL (Korean Lettuce wrap)

150 grams                  Pork Belly, thinly sliced

3 Tbsp.                                    Chinese cooking wine

½ Tbsp.                                    toasted Sesame Oil

As needed                  salt and ground black pepper

80 grams                  green lettuce leaves

4-5 pcs                                    whole garlic cloves, peeled

75 grams                  kimchi

4-5 pcs                                    Perilla leaves

Dipping Sauce:

2 Tbsp.                                    soy bean paste (daenjang)

1 Tbsp.                                    Korean chili paste (gochuchang)

1 tsp.                                    green onions, chopped

½ tsp.                                    minced garlic

1 Tbsp.                                    Toasted sesame oil

As needed                  toasted sesame, seeds

Sookju Namul (Beansprouts)

100 grams                  bean sprouts, cleaned

2 tsps.                                    Toasted sesame oil

2 tsps.                                    Toasted sesame seeds

1/s tsp                                    sugar

1 tsp                                    minced garlic

As needed                  salt and light soy sauce
